About Made by Momma

Made by Momma (madebymomma.org) is a volunteer-run, grassroots non-profit organization and registered Canadian Charity that provides wholesome nourishment and nurturing care to mothers and young children facing situations of adversity and crisis. As mothers, we are natural nurturers; however, during times of adversity, it can be difficult to meet the needs of our families while still caring for ourselves. Though it is never easy to ask for assistance, all mothers need a helping hand from time to time. Whether the need results from a sudden or unexpected injury or illness, the birth of a child, general feelings of being overwhelmed, or a time of adversity, it can be difficult to know where to turn when you do indeed need help. Women helping women is one of the best and strongest support systems that ever existed. Their goal is to provide support in the form of healthy prepared meals, wholesome baked goods, childcare assistance, short-term pet care, baby essentials, and other assistance to allow mothers the time they need to rest, recover and focus on their families and their health.
